TXT RACING 125 2025

The GASGAS TXT RACING 125 is, without question, the best trial bike for beginners and youngsters to hone their skills on. But make no mistake, our smallest, and lightest 2-stroke model is super modern and a whole lot of fun to ride! Delivering controllable, revvy power, the 125cc motor has a smooth yet strong torque curve, ideal for helping riders find grip while tackling any obstacle. With class leading suspension, selectable engine maps, and Braktec hydraulic clutch and brakes, the TXT RACING 125 features quality components all chosen for their performance and reliability. 

AIRBOX
There aren’t many bikes that have an airbox with a such a clever design, but ours do! Not only does it house the top-quality Twin Air filter, but the overall structure also plays a vital role in allowing our trial bikes to be super slim. With easy access to the airbox, filter changes are made quick and easy with just one bolt safely securing the filter in place. 

HANDLEBARS AND GRIPS
Strong, lightweight, and tapered NEKEN handlebars are fitted with RENTHAL grips for the best in both strength and comfort. With the bars clamped into the handlebar clamps made of forged aluminum the entire front-end of the TXT RACING range is super stable with a familiar feel for a confidence boosting ride, time after time. This provides improved stiffness and better feedback to the rider plus we increased protection by adding a bar pad.

FUEL TANK
Redesigned for enhanced ergonomics while fitting seamlessly within the frame and bodywork, the compact 2.4-liter fuel tank is held in place with just one bolt, ensuring fast removal and quick re-installation.

CNC MACHINED TRIPLE CLAMPS
Super cool and guaranteed to ensure front-end stability! Our silver anodized CNC machined triple clamps not only look the business, but they’re incredibly lightweight and play a huge role in delivering precise handling. 

TECH FORKS
Smooth and progressive for the very best performance, the 39mm low-friction TECH forks play a vital role in making sure this bike is super agile. On top of the left fork leg you can set up the pre-load while at the bottom you can use the end stroke adjuster to fine tune the compression. Over on the top of the right fork leg you’ll be able to fine tune the rebound to really dial in the forks and create a personalized setting.

SHOCK ABSORBER
To ensure our TXT RACING trial bikes provide you with best-in-class performance, we fit a TECH shock that can be adjusted in various ways to suit your style and ability. By fine tuning the pre-load, compression, and rebound, you can create a personalized set-up for maximum comfort and amazing rear wheel traction.

SWINGARM
Slim, lightweight, and super-strong! Cast from a single piece of aluminum, the swingarms fitted to the entire TXT RACING range are manufactured with proven rigidity and optimal flex, to soak up the biggest of rear wheel hits with ease. 

MOTOR
Compact, light, and powerful. If you didn’t already know, the TXT RACING 125 motor is by far the most competitive, and rideable in its class. Our engineers have never stopped developing the little 125cc 2-stroke motor either and the current generation delivers its power in such a way that it suits all skill levels. Sharing much of the same architecture as the larger capacity GASGAS trial bikes, the motor not only gives riders smooth power, but the design also aids handling.

CYLINDER HEAD
The internal shape of the two-piece cast aluminum cylinder head has been specifically calculated and improved to ensure the very best clean running engine performance, as well as featuring cooling ducts that keep the motor at a constant temperature.

CYLINDER AND PISTON
The little TXT RACING 125 cylinder has specifically designed intake and exhaust ports, which, when used with a forged piston, delivers impressive torque and a smooth power delivery across the full rev range. A low weight, aluminum cylinder bracket is used to reduce engine vibrations while also assisting with frame flex.

CARBURETOR
Giving our 2-stroke motors all the fuel they need for a wide spread of smooth, strong power is the KEIHIN PWK 28mm carburetor. 

TRANSMISSION
Light, strong, and reliable. Just what you’d want from a transmission! A few small refinements for 2025 improve shifting and durability, giving an even better riding experience. The clever 4/6 system allows riders to select from 6 gears when there are only 4 gears on the internal transmission shaft, saving weight and allowing for super compact crankcases. Cool huh! A new addition for the TXT RACING models is that they now feature the same shift lever as our GP bikes, which leads to more positive shifts, even when it’s muddy.

CRANKSHAFT
The magic at the center of the TXT RACING 125 motor! Our engineers perfectly balance each and every crankshaft to ensure maximum inertia and deliver a 54.5mm stroke, allowing the motor to run freely and deliver instant power. To increase durability, we use a closed main bearing made by SKF. Due to its specific positioning with the motor the crankshaft also contributes to the bike’s awesome handling. A strong, lightweight connecting rod completes the crankshaft, which also drives the water pump impeller.

CRANKCASE
We save weight wherever we can to ensure the TXT RACING 125 remains the most competitive bike in its class. That’s why the bike’s super-compact crankcases are made using a high-pressure casting process for incredible strength and durability. The design also puts all major moving parts close to the bike’s center of gravity for incredible handling. To tidy things up even more, the bike’s hydraulic clutch master cylinder is built into the clutch cover.

EXHAUST SYSTEM
A stainless-steel front pipe and rear silencer maximize the power and torque from our compact 2-stroke motors. Both components are low in weight for uncompromised handling yet high in strength for incredible durability. Speaking of things being durable, the silencer end cap is designed to keep out of harm’s way and reduce the risk of any potential damage. And when it comes to changing the silencer packing, an easy-access design makes a not so fun job a whole lot quicker and easier. Thank us later!

CLUTCH
Release all the torque and power you need with just one finger thanks to our super light BRAKTEC hydraulic clutch! The reliable system is designed to ensure even wear for smooth operation and exceptional performance at all times. Consisting of three Kevlar friction plates, two steel plates, and a Belleville spring design, hours and hours of maintenance free riding is guaranteed. A durable clutch cover guarantees higher stiffness and a smoother profile lever offers a more comfortable feel.

BRAKTEC BRAKES
For 2025 we’ve taken the braking performance of our TXT RACING range up a notch as each bike is now equipped with the same GALFER disks that you’ll find on our TXT GP bikes. Up front you’ll find a 185mm floating waved disk with a 4-piston BRAKTEC caliper while at the rear there’s a 150mm solid waved disk with a 2-piston BRAKTEC caliper. The rear disk also complies with FIM regulations so this bike’s good to go at any event. 

FAN AND RADIATORS
The seriously clever integrated cooling system on our TXT RACING trial bikes is further improved with a redesigned fan that increases air flow and reduces sound. And with the radiator neatly tucked away between the aluminum engine mounts, the whole system is well protected from crash damage for continued 2-stroke performance. 

WHEELS
They’re built to last. Strength and reliability combine to create high performing wheels that will stand the test of time. With a CNC machined hub connected to the cool, black anodized aluminum rims from MORAD with lightweight spokes, this wheelset is capable of soaking up the hardest of hits. Up front, the aluminum axle is low in weight, high in strength, and plays a huge part in ensuring the front-end has a lightweight feeling. 

TIRES
MICHELIN’s super-light X11 tires connect all our TXT RACING bikes to the rocks, mud, and obstacles beneath them. The best in the business, they feature super-pliable knobbles, which together with low pressures offer exceptional grip. 

IGNITION/ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
HIDRIA ignitions generate stronger power, which stabilizes idling and creates a cleaner response from the bottom end. Depending on your riding style and weather conditions, the handlebar mounted map switch allows for a choice of two ignition curves, which can be selected for tailored power in every section. 

FOOTPEGS
To improve comfort on the bike, the footpegs have been fully redesigned with an increased surface area closer to the frame. This unique design including a fixing bolt which is completely hidden in the frame allows riders to grip the bike more efficiently which enhances control considerably when compared to previous models. The same tried and tested special micro-casting process is retained for continued low weight and maximum grip.
