12-09/2024 – 2025 CHAMPIONS EDITION RANGE

THE 2025 KTM EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION RANGE IS MADE FOR THE TOP STEP

Like it says on the tin, the KTM EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION range celebrates KTM’s dominance in the FIM Hard Enduro and EnduroGP World Championships.

In 1974, Motocross racer Gennadij Moiseev won KTM's first 250cc World Championship, setting the tone for what would become an unparalleled motorsports success story. In 1990, KTM won the first-ever Enduro World Championship with Paul Edmondson and Peter Hansson. Today, over 50 years and more than 340 world titles later, KTM presents the CHAMPIONS EDITION to honour the past and present KTM champions.

Setting the KTM EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION apart from the rest of the KTM Enduro range is a RED BULL KTM FACTORY RACING graphics kit, poised to take its place between the standard KTM EXC and KTM EXC SIX DAYS range.

While featuring the same, proven race-winning parts package as the rest of the KTM Enduro arsenal, the KTM EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION adds the following to the mix:

  • RED BULL KTM FACTORY RACING GRAPHICS
  • ORANGE FRAME
  • FRAME PROTECTION SET
  • GREY ODI LOCK-ON GRIPS
  • ORANGE FACTORY RACING SEAT
  • MAP-SELECT SWITCH
  • ORANGE FRONT AXLE PULLER
  • SEMI-FLOATING FRONT BRAKE DISC
  • SUPERSPROX STEALTH REAR SPROCKET
  • SKID PLATE
  • RADIATOR FAN
  • MICHELIN ENDURO TYRES

The 2025 KTM EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION line-up boasts several models, with the KTM 250 EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION and KTM 300 EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION leading the 2-stroke stables.

On the 4-stroke side of the pitlane, the ever-present KTM 250 EXC-F CHAMPIONS EDITION, KTM 350 EXC-F CHAMPIONS EDITION, KTM 450 EXC-F CHAMPIONS EDITION and KTM 500 EXC-F CHAMPIONS EDITION take the top position.

Who better to showcase the new models in a competition setting than three of KTM’s most renowned racers? Two-time world enduro champion Johnny Aubert will head to Galicia, Spain, in October this year to take on the iconic FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE). The Frenchman will be joined by Chris Birch – hard enduro star and three-time Roof of Africa winner – as well as Red Bull Erzbergrodeo victor (and Mani’s Dad) Andreas Lettenbichler. Together, the three legends of enduro will contest the ISDE’s Club Team class as the KTM ALL STAR TEAM – all riding KTM EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION machines.

Set to roll off the Mattighofen production line in September, the new 2025 KTM EXC CHAMPIONS EDITION range will be available from October onwards. Full model pricing below.

16/07/2024 – CUTTING EDGE MC 85 FOR 2025!

GASGAS ANNOUNCES CUTTING-EDGE MC 85 FOR 2025

NEW 2-STROKE MOTOCROSS BIKE SET TO CHANGE THE GAME IN THE HIGH-REVVING 85CC CLASS

When it comes to building high-performance 2-stroke dirt bikes, GASGAS sure knows a thing or two! So, for model year 2025, our super-popular MC 85 has undergone a complete overhaul – maximizing power from the motor while introducing an all-new frame and new WP XACT shock, to deliver confidence-inspiring handling and better stability. Not one component on the bike was overlooked by our engineers during the development process of this new generation model. The end result? A super-fun dirt bike that’s easy to ride fast for guaranteed good times!

  • GASGAS comes out swinging with an all-new generation MC 85!
  • New frame, all-red bodywork, and an updated motor headline the improvements
  • Find the awesome new MC 85 this July at a GASGAS dealer near you

For youngsters aged between 11 and 15 years old, we know there are a few options out there when it comes to moving up to the 85 class. But at the top of everyone’s list, thanks to a long list of serious updates for 2025, should be the awesome MC 85!

The new generation model has been developed with serious input from a global team of young test riders, with their feedback allowing our highly skilled team of engineers to build what may well be the best production 85cc motocross bike ever made! And just like before, there are two options to choose from with the MC 85 – one with 17”/14” wheels for smaller riders and another with 19”/16” wheels for those kids who grow just that little bit quicker!

The main objective for everyone involved in building the new MC 85 was to make it much easier to ride and control, compared to the outgoing model. There’s an all-new frame that maximizes stability and creates a lighter feel through the turns. A new WP XACT shock for better traction when getting on the gas. A new, lighter swingarm, and new footpegs, too. But wait up, that’s not everything…

Our already awesome MC 85 motor wasn’t overlooked when it came to developing this new bike! Top-end performance was already super impressive for an 85cc dirt bike, so the focus was put on squeezing out more low to mid-range power and boosting torque. And with a new cylinder head, ignition, exhaust, spark plug, and settings inside the KEIHIN carburetor, in addition to the revised airbox for increased airflow, we can safely say it is mission accomplished. Then, to make sure the MC 85 runs at the perfect temperature at all times for maximum power, new radiators, made by PANKL, keep the motor running cool.

And, on top of all that, the motor is repositioned in the frame to help balance the bike out even more. Plus, there’s new, all-red bodywork and new graphics to match the big bikes. The side panels are now even slimmer than before too, so kids can move around much more easily to emulate their GASGAS Factory Racing heroes!

Overall, the new MC 85 is designed to look just like our full size bikes, which lets kids do their thing on a scaled down version of what they can expect to ride when they get a bit older. Trust us, little rippers from around the world are going to love everything about the 2025 GASGAS MC 85. The post-ride smiles will tell you everything you need to know about how good it really is!

Technical Highlights
New frame – All-new for 2025 to improve cornering and stability, especially when getting on the gas out of turns. Frame protectors keep it looking fresh, too.
New WP XACT shock – A new mounting point on the frame and slight reduction in travel creates a more balanced and planted feel for improved traction and control.
Updated motor – A new cylinder head, ignition, spark plug, and carburetor settings boost low to mid-range power and torque.
New exhaust system – Designed in line with the motor updates for maximum performance.

New bodywork and graphics – Mirroring the full size bikes for a sweet new look with slimmer side panels improving control.
New shift drum – Finished with a new coating for strength and smoother shifting.
New swingarm – Lighter in weight by 300g and positioned a little more level than before thanks to the shorter shock and new frame. This leads to a lower back end for easier movement on the bike.
New footpegs – Redesigned to prevent mud from building up for total control in all conditions.
New radiators – Made by PANKL so you just know they’re up to the job of keeping the motor cool!
Redesigned airbox – With improved airflow for maximum performance.
Hour meter – Records time spent on the bike to help you keep on top of routine servicing

28/05/2024 – 2025 MOTOCROSS LINE-UP

GASGAS ADDS TWO HIGH-REVVING 2-STROKES TO 2025 MOTOCROSS LINE-UP!

NEW MC 150 AND MC 300 MODELS COMPLETE THE IMPROVED RANGE OF MOTOCROSS MACHINES

One year on from launching an all-new generation of motocross machinery, GASGAS is spicing things up once again with a revitalised line-up that includes two new 2-stroke models for 2025. Existing bikes across both ranges now feature revised frames, engine mounts, swingarms, suspension settings and linkages to make sure each one is even more fun to ride.

  • New and improved GASGAS dirt bikes revealed for 2025
  • Huge choice of models means there’s something for everyone
  • Available in dealers from July onwards

Riders ask, GASGAS delivers! That’s right 2-stroke fans, GASGAS has introduced an MC 150 and an MC 300 to its motocross line-up! By expanding the offering, GASGAS really does now have a bike for everyone – from beginner to pro and every rider in between. The little MC 150 uses the foundations of the super-popular MC 125 but takes power – and more importantly – torque to a crazy new level for such a small capacity dirt bike.

The same can be said for the MC 300, which is based on the versatile MC 250. Offering up plenty of power, it’ll be the super useable torque curve that 2-stroke fanatics are going to love most about the MC 300! Both bikes are built using the same high-quality components found on all GASGAS motocross models for 2025. Such as the revised frame design…

Removing a little material around the upper shock mount and reducing thickness at the front end of the frame has resulted in the new motocross range shedding some weight for 2025 – 300 grams in total. These revisions significantly improve handling – especially when entering corners – without sacrificing any straight-line stability. New engine mounts further refine the frame’s flex characteristics, with revised suspension settings introduced to complement the chassis changes and help elevate the riding experience.

A stronger air intake sleeve prevents flex to maintain maximum airflow. At the rear of each bike, the swingarm is updated to enhance the durability of the chain slider, which is made from a more hard-wearing material to boost longevity. The suspension linkage now uses new, lower friction SKF seals to allow the WP Suspension rear shock to perform at its best, with a smaller linkage bolt reducing weight and playing a part in delivering the refined flex characteristics from the updated chassis.

Technical Highlights
Revised frame – Re-engineered for improved cornering while remaining stable at speed
New engine mounts – Now with cut-outs for improved chassis flex
New SKF linkage seals and smaller bolt – Leads to a smoother shock performance and saves weight
New suspension settings – Adapted to complement all of the chassis updates
New graphics – With GASGAS in bold black letters for a fresh twist on usual signature styling
New intake snorkel – A stronger design prevents air deformation for maximum power at all times
New fuel tank support – Holds the tank securely in place and prevents frame wear
Updated die-cast aluminum swingarm – Low in weight, strong and lightly machined to improve the durability of the chain slider
Updated rear brake pedal and caliper – Improving durability for continued performance
WP XACT front fork with AER technology – Adjustable by hand and features a hydrostop to take the sting out of heavy landings
WP XACT rear shock – Light and offering 300mm of travel, the WP XACT shock is designed for maximum comfort and performance
Aluminum subframe – Strong, reliable and plays a vital role in improved ergonomics and handling All-red bodywork – Featuring large contact areas allowing improved grip and ultimate control
Hour metre – Helps to make sure all riders stay on top of maintainence
Forged triple clamps – Featuring a steering stem engineered to offer the perfect amount of flex for maximum comfort
High-performance BRAKTEC hydraulic clutch system – As close as you can get to maintenance-free, ensuring consistency and performance at all times
BRAKTEC brakes – Brake discs and calipers unique to GASGAS
NEKEN handlebars – Made from high-strength aluminum for durability and comfort, featuring large bar pad and bar bend unique to GASGAS

Connectivity Unit Offroad and GPS sensor – Available as Technical Accessories for all 4-strokes, once paired with a smartphone and the GASGAS+ app, riders can easily personalise engine performance and so much more

25/07/2024 – KTM 85 SX

KTM 85 SX 2025

STEP UP INTO THE BIG LEAGUES

Filling the gap between the KTM 65 SX and the KTM 125 SX, the 2025 KTM 85 SX provides young racers the ideal platform to launch into full-size motocross competition, ready to pick up the baton and continue its domination in the 85 cc class.

The 2025 KTM 85 SX is developed to be as close to a scaled-down version of a full-size KTM Motocross machine as possible, with international testing in Europe, North America and Australia. This has resulted in an 85 cc screamer that not only looks like it's bigger brothers but behaves like them, sharing the same high levels of quality and attention to detail.

For 2025, the KTM 85 SX has been updated significantly to enhance handling characteristics, boost rider confidence, and improve engine performance in the low to mid-rpm range.

A completely new frame, subframe and swingarm provide the basis for the update over the previous generation. Based on the full-sized KTM SX frame concept, the high-strength chromium molybdenum steel frame integrates carefully calculated longitudinal flex and torsional rigidity parameters for unmatched rider feedback, energy absorption, and straight-line stability. This is mated to a 1-piece polyamide glass fibre reinforced aluminum subframe, reducing overall weight and providing a platform to integrate the electronics. Manufactured using a gravity die-cast process, the one-piece aluminum swingarm offers exceptional strength with minimal weight. The topology has been optimised for maximum rigidity, and an improved casting process reduces the weight by 300 grams. Additionally, a 20 mm rear axle has been fitted to optimise and match the chassis flex characteristics.

The new frame also allowed for a new riding experience with a steering head at 63.5 degrees – half a degree flatter than the previous generation – and moved rearwards by 6 mm. This has aided in cornering stability and a more planted feel in high-speed acceleration, further supported by a wider steering angle of 35 degrees, which has improved the steering angle by 2 degrees over its predecessor.

The engine position has also been tweaked, with a 3 degree rotation upwards to maintain a more direct connection point with the swingarm. This has allowed for the most effective weight distribution when hitting jumps.

Regarding suspension updates, the 2025 KTM 85 SX benefits from an all-new, fully-adjustable WP XACT monoshock mirroring the latest technology found in the full-size motocross range. Linked directly to the swingarm in a PDS format, the WP XACT monoshock has a different mounting point to the previous generation, allowing for a more compact rear shock design with a shorter stroke. This provides improved rider feedback and stability over larger jumps and rough tracks.

A notable update over the previous generation is a lower suspension travel of 289 mm compared to 305 mm on the previous model. This has dramatically aided in controlling rebound and compression in the rear shock, with a more planted feel, better traction and overall handling.

Up front, the 2025 KTM 85 SX maintains the championship-proven and lightweight 43 mm WP XACT USD AER fork. Compared to the previous generation, the air pressure is tuned to 4.8 bar from the previous 5.0 bar for a smoother ride and suspension compliance.

An updated engine has improved power in the low and mid-rpm range and increased torque for performance. This is made possible by a new cylinder head and spark plug, ignition, exhaust, shift drum, and updated carburettor settings.

Changes on the new generation KTM 85 SX have also extended to the overall looks, with all-new slimmer bodywork mimicking that of the full-sized KTM SX range. This new look is also functional, allowing for better contact with young riders’ boots when standing up. New footpegs, a larger radiator and improved triple clamps round out the changes.

The 2025 KTM 85 SX is another example of KTM’s dedication to mini-cross, with the same amount of energy and attention going into the development of grassroots racing as it imparts at a Supercross level.

The new 2025 KTM 85 SX will be available for £6,399, from August.

20/06/2024 – 2025 EXC RANGE

2025 EXC RANGE

KTM EXC LINE-UP MOVES THE GOALPOSTS EVEN FURTHER

The 2025 KTM EXC range introduces a series of refinements and key touches to the Enduro lineup, bringing over 30 years of race-bred performance and cutting-edge technology to the trails.

With over three decades at the sharp end of World Enduro Championships – and countless regional titles – the 2025 KTM EXC line-up is set to maintain its domination of enduro competition.

Following 2024's significant 95% overhaul, the 2025 range continues to use revolutionary closed-cartridge suspension, refined frame and bodywork, and industry-defining technology.

The most notable change is the ‘orange’ makeover. Here, the previous 1990s-inspired purple highlights are replaced by a timeless silver-grey graphic over predominantly orange bodywork and a black frame. The seat remains orange, featuring a high-grip seat cover and textured grip strips, which can also be found on the frame protectors, tank shrouds and bar pad.

At the rear, handling is further refined, thanks to new settings for the WP XPLOR PDS shock, resulting in an improved pressure balance and a lower risk of cavitation. The swingarm also gets an update, with a machined unit to improve the durability of the chain glider.

Upfront, a new and updated fuel tank roll now secures the tank more firmly in place while keeping the frame protected against scrubbing. At the handlebars, a new on/off switch gear is carried over from the KTM SX range.

All models in the range keep the hydro-formed, laser-cut and robot-welded frame, which is renowned for its flex parameters, rider feedback and straight-line stability, with a 48 mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring fork and WP XPLORE PDS taking care of suspension duties.

For the UK market, the 2025 KTM EXC 2-stroke range will consist of the KTM 150 EXC, KTM 250 EXC and KTM 300 EXC. The 4-stroke line-up also remains unchanged, with the dirt ripping KTM 250 EXC-F, KTM 350 EXC-F, KTM 450 EXC-F and KTM 500 EXC-F filling the ranks.

The new 2025 KTM EXC range will be rolling off the Austrian production line in June and available from July. As an introductory offer for the UK market, KTM Finance is offering promotional finance rates across all 2025 EXC models. Ranging from zero to two per cent APR – depending on length of agreement – on Purchase Plan only, this new POWER DEAL is available until 31.07.24.

The 2025 KTM EXC range is the culmination of years of R&D fighting at the sharp end of Enduro competition worldwide. With dynamic race-bred performance, focused ergonomics and leading technology, the 2025 KTM Enduro range is primed and ready to challenge any terrain and redefine the limit.

As always, a dedicated collection of KTM PowerWear and KTM PowerParts are designed to provide the highest levels of performance and protection, with collections ready to meet the needs of hobby riders and pro racers alike.

MOTOCROSS 2025

KTM TAKES RIDER CONNECTION TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH THE 2025 KTM MOTOCROSS RANGE

In its latest update since the completely revamped 2023 KTM SX range, the 2025 KTM SX and 2025 KTM SX-F range have upped the ante when it comes to rider connection, composure and control – along with the return of a fan favourite.

Engineered to provide riders with more control than ever before, the 2025 KTM SX and SX-F range brings a series of updates adopted directly from KTM's Factory Racing efforts, making this the most READY TO RACE line-up yet.

The frame has received the most significant update share, with visible cutouts and tube-wall thickness changes around the front, engine mounts and rear shock mounting areas. These changes have been specifically engineered to improve chassis flex characteristics and reduce weight by around 300 g while maintaining overall stability and improving cornering behaviour. An updated swingarm with a machined chain glider and an updated rear brake pedal for improved durability round off updates to the frame.

New Dunlop GEOMAX MX34 Motocross tyres are standard on the 2025 KTM SX and SX-F models, providing stability and control at the highest level to perform at their best. These feature a new carcass compound that improves damping and absorption, adding up to 30% longer performance. New Progressive Cornering Block Technology improves traction, grip and mud dissipation.

At the rear, the WP XACT rear shock benefits from an updated linkage with renewed seals and smaller diameter linkage bolts. The setup is taken directly from the KTM Factory Racing Team and is optimised to benefit weight savings and stiffness parameters. To complement the updates at the rear, the WP XACT AER fork features reworked settings to account for more flex and less weight.

Ergonomically, the 2025 KTM SX and SX-F range features new tank shrouds with bi-composite plastics on the upper and lower flanks, providing a fresh, sharp and distinctive new look and improved cooling. This is supported by an updated fuel tank roll that protects the frame against wear from scrubbing and improves tank fitment. Lastly, an updated air inlet sleeve and snorkel design features on the 2025 models. This is now a one-piece part, preventing deformation through a more robust and stiffer material design.

Above the surface, all-new graphics mirror the new design language of the tank shrouds and hint at the many small technical changes on the 2025 line-up. Full-orange bodywork, red and black in-mould graphics, and a more durable black seat bring a clean look while communicating pure, READY TO RACE intention.

Model year 2025 also sees the introduction of the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO), which is available as a KTM PowerPart for the 2025 KTM SX-F line-up. The CUO offers various functionalities and adjustability options via the KTMconnect app. This exists as two parts: the CUO – mounted on the right upper fork between the lower and upper triple clamp – and the GPS sensor on the front fender. A CUO-compatible front fender is available as a KTM PowerParts option.

At long last, the cherished KTM 150 SX rejoins the 2-stroke stable with much anticipation. The 2025 KTM 150 SX builds upon the foundation of the KTM 125 SX but with a significant overhaul of components. Specifically designed, modified and rearranged for racers in pursuit of elevated performance, it offers enhanced torque and an enriched riding experience.

The 2025 KTM SX and SX-F models introduce subtle yet significant enhancements to the race paddock, offering the broadest selection of machines designed to meet the needs of every rider and racer.

24/10/2023 – GASGAS TURNS UP THE HEAT WITH ALL-NEW MINICYCLES

GASGAS TURNS UP THE HEAT WITH ALL-NEW 2024 MC 50 AND MC 65!

SMALL, RED AND EASY TO SHRED: DIRT BIKES FOR THRILL-SEEKING KIDS WORLDWIDE

Hot on the heels of GASGAS’ full-size dirt bike launch, we’re back with two awesome new 2-stroke mini bikes for 2024 – the MC 50 and MC 65. These latest generation models, which are pretty much all new, will certainly spice things up for every young rider out on the track. Headlining the massive list of exciting updates for both models is their adjustable ergonomics, as well as vibrant new bodywork, new motors and new frames. Almost everything about each model has been improved to take the riding experience to the next level. Without doubt, they’re the hottest dirt bikes kids will ever need!

  • GASGAS’ all-new generation MC 50 and MC 65 offer next-level performance
  • Adjustable ergonomics allow each bike to be adapted as riders grow
  • Check them out in GASGAS dealers from December 2023

Kids grow fast – sometimes a little too fast – which is why the GASGAS engineers have made the MC 50 and MC 65 adjustable in size. This means youngsters can continue riding a familiar bike, really getting the most out of it before stepping up to a bigger model. Plus, as both bikes are built from quality components in the same way as full-size GASGAS MX models, you know that these little rippers are the real deal.

MC 50
The new engine creates a broader spread of power, making the MC 50 so much easier to ride, and with classic GASGAS styling influenced by our full-size bikes, it really is a seriously good-looking dirt bike! Everything about it, including the new ignition, cylinder head, exhaust, frame and WP rear shock, combine to really boost the overall performance and handling of this awesome little 2-stroke.

Technical Highlights – MC 50
New and adjustable ergonomics – For the first time ever, the MC 50 features adjustable, child-specific ergonomics, which means the bike perfectly fits a wider range of riders. The bodywork, shock and subframe can now be fitted in two positions, offering a seat height of either 634mm or 682mm. This allows smaller kids to start on a smaller bike and stay with the MC 50 as they grow – in both size and confidence.

New bodywork – Influenced by our full-size bikes to create a unified look across the range, the new and scaled-down all-red bodywork looks the business!

New motor – With a slightly larger capacity of 49.9cc, the new motor creates a much broader spread of power when compared to the old generation but make no mistake, this little motor is just as high revving and packs a real punch!

New frame – Replicating the design of our bigger bikes for ultimate strength, improved handling and confidence-inspiring stability. The shock’s mounting position has also been moved to reduce energy transfer through the frame for next level rideability.

New polyamide reinforced steel subframe – Strong, light and height adjustable with two positions to accommodate growing riders, while playing a vital role when it comes to the bike’s overall handling.

New cylinder head – Redesigned inserts made from two separate parts for simplified maintenance – who doesn’t love that?

New ignition – The new digital ignition is largely responsible for the increased power and durability of the new MC 50.

New clutch – A reinforced basket means improved durability while the multi-disk clutch pack helps deliver smooth and predictable power.

New radiator – One large radiator (instead of two) helps simplify the hose routing to improve cooling in all conditions.

New exhaust – With the welds on the inside smoothed over it makes for a noticeable power gain throughout the rev-range.

New WP XACT Rear Suspension – A shorter rear shock lowers the back end of the MC 50 to create a much more balanced chassis and is perfectly matched to the WP XACT front forks.

New footpegs – All-new design improves grip, prevents mud from building up and stops them catching on deep ruts.

New handlebars and grips – A super modern bar bend improves body position and boosts technique while ODI grips offer maximum comfort.

New hour meter – For making sure routine maintenance stays on schedule.

MC 65
For kids stepping up from the MC 50, our MC 65 is ready and waiting. Because riding the MC 65 could be the first time a child throws their leg over a dirt bike with a clutch and transmission, our engineers have designed both components to be easy to use and maintain a consistent performance. This, in addition to the unrestrictive ergonomics, more usable spread of power and a perfectly balanced chassis, allows young thrill seekers to focus on what matters most – riding fast and having fun!

Technical Highlights – MC 65
New and adjustable ergonomics – For the first time ever, the MC 65 features adjustable, child-specific ergonomics which means the bike caters for more riders. The bodywork, shock and subframe can now be fitted in two positions, which offers a seat height of either 715mm or 760mm. This allows smaller kids to start on the lower seat height and eventually graduate to the taller setting, keeping them riding the same bike for longer and building up their skills and confidence.

New bodywork – Similar to the new MC 50, the new bodywork is a scaled down version of our full-size bikes abd also looks the business!

New motor – Much more powerful than the old generation and sets the bar even higher when it comes to 2-stroke performance!

New frame – Replicating the design of our big bikes for ultimate strength, improved handling and confidence-inspiring stability. The shock’s mounting position has also been moved to reduce the energy transfer through the frame for next level rideability. Riders will also enjoy carving through tighter corners thanks to a wider steering range.

New polyamide reinforced steel subframe – Strong, light and height adjustable with two positions to accommodate growing riders while playing a vital role when it comes to the bike’s overall handling.

New cylinder head – Redesigned inserts made from two separate parts for simplified maintenance.

New ignition – The new digital ignition is largely responsible for the increased power and durability of the new MC 65.

New clutch – A steel basket means improved durability while the diaphragm spring clutch self-adjusts to maintain performance.

New radiators – Two new Pankl radiators replicate the same design as used on our full-size GASGAS dirt bikes but scaled down to fit the MC 65. These rads, in addition to a new coolant hose layout, keep the bike running super cool for maximum power and motor durability.

New exhaust – With the welds on the inside smoothed over it makes for a noticeable power gain throughout the rev-range.

New WP XACT rear suspension – A shorter rear shock with 253.5mm of travel lowers the back end to create a much more balanced chassis and is perfectly matched to the WP XACT front forks.

New footpegs – All-new design improves grip, prevents mud from building up and stops them catching on deep ruts.

New shift lever – Influenced by our full-size bikes, precise shifting in all conditions is super easy thanks to its clever design that prevents mud from building up around the tip.

New kickstart – A quick prod of the redesigned kickstart and the MC 65 fires into life. Simple!

New handlebars and grips – A super modern bar bend improves body position and boosts technique while ODI grips offer maximum comfort.

New hour meter – For making sure routine maintenance stays on schedule.

28/11/2023 – INTRODUCING THE 1390 SUPER DUKE R

INTRODUCING THE KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R – THE BEAST, REBORN

The 2024 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO have erupted into the Naked segment without warning, sending a clear message to the competition: there is a new BEAST on the prowl.

With 2024 marking 30 YEARS OF DUKE, the all-new KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and its high-tech stablemate – the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO – have evolved into their most fearsome iterations yet.

The numbers tell the story – 1,350 cc, 190 Hp at 10,000 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, ripping into the tarmac with pure ferocity and a new, more aggressive look to match. Impressive figures aside however, it is its effectiveness at getting power to the ground that makes it even more potent.

For 2024, THE BEAST has undergone a striking aposematic evolution, sending a clear warning message to anyone brave enough to take it on. An all-new LED headlight unit dominates, with new tank spoilers and added winglets making it known that it is not to be messed with. A further reduced subframe cover eliminates the brake light making for an even sharper look and riding experience. With a lower overall profile and more emphasis placed on the compact chassis, the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R looks more muscular and aggressive than ever before. In short, KTM upped the attitude by lowering the altitude.

A redesigned air intake and airbox see a revised fuel tank with an overall tank capacity of 17.5 litres – an increase of 1.5 litres over its predecessor. This not only takes the riding range up to around 300 km / 185 miles but also performs an important ergonomic function. In the hunt for grams, every panel has been calculated for optimum thickness and minimised where possible, with new tank spoilers and added winglets increasing downforce.

However, it is the lightweight and ‘smart’ headlight design that makes the biggest visual impact. Weighing in at nearly 700 g less than the previous unit and boasting an alien-like design, it adds an all-new aggressive glare to the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R. Position and daytime running lights are located on the profile of the headlight, which auto-adjusts in intensity according to ambient light conditions.

Additionally, the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO are fitted with Coming Home light functionality as standard. Here, the headlight will remain on for a short period of time after the ignition has been switched off, allowing for greater ambient visibility. This not only illuminates the surroundings but provides a level of safety when parking in dark areas.

Backing up its muscular stance, at the heart of this ferocious BEAST sits an enlarged powerplant – an updated version of the LC8 – further marking its territory as the alpha. The bore is increased to 110 mm to achieve an engine displacement of 1,350 cc, with an all-new cam shift integrated on the cylinder heads. This provides more power and torque throughout the rpm range and allows for a more differentiated fuel mapping to meet the latest EURO 5+ emission regulations.

Getting that power to the ground comes courtesy of new, lightweight MICHELIN Power GP tyres with dual-compound technology, as well as a new WP APEX shock absorber which is fully adjustable, allowing for separate high and low speed adjustments, rebound and toolless pre-load adjustment. Improved DCC settings provide better pressure balance resulting in less compromise between suspension comfort and performance, while new 48 mm WP APEX Open Cartridge forks with split function provide optimised settings.

On the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO however, the suspension management is taken to an all-new level with the latest generation of WP Semi-Active Technology (SAT). As the most advanced suspension system on the market, it features electronically controlled magnetic valves for variable damping, providing a wide range of adjustability – from maximum comfort to track-ready stiffness. Here, the SCU (Suspension Control Unit) adapts the damping rates via the magnetic valves in real-time, reading the road surface and rider style to automatically adjust the suspension on the fly.

The technology feast doesn't end there, with both the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO debuting updated PERFORMANCE and TRACK MODES, complete with lap timer and telemetry stats, as well as optional ENGINE BRAKE CONTROL and an updated SUSPENSION PRO module for the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO.

The KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO are available in select 30 YEARS OF DUKE colourways, reminiscent of the orange scheme found on the 2005 KTM 990 SUPER DUKE. Both 2024 models will be available from January 2024 onwards, UK pricing below:
